The Exumas are a chain of over 300 islands and cays stretching through some of the clearest water in the world. Known for their vivid turquoise shallows, powder-white sandbars, and remote anchorages, this is where the Bahamas feels at its most untouched.

Accessible only by boat, the Exumas offer a level of freedom and exclusivity that’s hard to find anywhere else. Swim in water so clear it feels unreal, explore hidden beaches, visit iconic stops like the swimming pigs, and anchor in quiet, protected coves surrounded by nothing but ocean and sky.

Each day brings a new setting—from calm, shallow sandbars to deeper blue channels—creating an experience that’s both relaxed and endlessly changing.

Based in Nassau (New Providence), ROAM offers all-inclusive private yacht charters throughout the Bahamas.

Our primary cruising grounds are the Exumas—renowned for their crystal-clear waters, remote islands, and iconic stops. We also operate in the Abacos, Eleuthera, Berry Islands, and Bimini with a relocation fee. Additional cruising areas and custom routes may be available upon request.

Charters can be arranged as round-trip itineraries from Nassau or as one-way journeys between Nassau and Staniel Cay, allowing you to experience more of the Exumas without retracing your route. We also offer fully Exumas-based charters, either round-trip or one-way, with Staniel Cay serving as our primary base in the region.

For Abacos itineraries, guest pickup is typically arranged in Marsh Harbour.

  A must-see and one of the Bahamas’ most famous experiences—friendly pigs swimming out to greet you in crystal-clear water.

• Thunderball Grotto
  A stunning underwater cave filled with tropical fish, made famous by James Bond films. Best explored at the right tide for an unforgettable swim-through experience.

• Compass Cay Nurse Sharks
  Get in the water with gentle nurse sharks in a calm, protected marina—an exciting but approachable wildlife encounter.

• Sandbars & Shallow Banks
  Endless stretches of powder-white sand and knee-deep turquoise water that appear and disappear with the tides—perfect for relaxing, walking, or simply taking it all in.

• Rachel’s Bubble Bath
  A natural ocean-fed pool where waves crash through rock formations, creating a bubbling, spa-like effect.

• Iguana Beach (Allen’s Cay)
  Walk among native Bahamian rock iguanas on a remote island—an experience that feels completely untouched.

• Hidden Anchorages

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome Aboard
(Palm Cay Marina → Shroud Cay)

Your adventure begins at 12:00 PM at Palm Cay Marina, where you'll step aboard ROAM, meet your crew, and settle into life on the water. After a welcome drink, lunch onboard, and safety briefing, we cruise into the breathtaking Exumas.

Arrive at beautiful Shroud Cay in the afternoon for a refreshing swim, cocktails on the flybridge, and your first chef-prepared dinner under the stars.

Day 2 – Discover Shroud Cay

Wake up to calm turquoise waters and fresh coffee on deck. Spend the day exploring one of the Exumas' most spectacular islands.

Cruise through winding mangrove creeks by dinghy or paddleboard, hike to the breathtaking Atlantic beach, float through the famous "Washing Machine," snorkel crystal-clear waters, or simply relax on a secluded beach.

Day 3 – Shroud Cay → Warderick Wells

After a leisurely breakfast, cruise to Warderick Wells in the heart of the Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park.

Spend the day hiking to the famous Boo Boo Hill overlook, snorkeling vibrant coral reefs, paddleboarding through protected anchorages, and enjoying one of the most beautiful national parks in the Bahamas.

Day 4 – Compass Cay & Rachel's Bubble Bath

Today's adventure takes you to Compass Cay, where you can swim with the famous friendly nurse sharks, snorkel crystal-clear waters, or relax on pristine beaches.

Later, visit Rachel's Bubble Bath, where ocean waves create a natural bubbling pool along the shoreline (weather and sea conditions permitting).

Day 5 – Staniel Cay

Experience one of the Exumas' most iconic destinations.

Snorkel the famous Thunderball Grotto, visit the swimming pigs at Big Major Cay, explore Staniel Cay by golf cart, browse the local shops, or enjoy lunch and cocktails at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club.

Day 6 – Norman's Cay

Cruise north to historic Norman's Cay and snorkel the famous underwater plane wreck resting in crystal-clear water.

Spend the afternoon swimming, beachcombing, or simply soaking up the beauty of the Exumas before enjoying another relaxing evening aboard ROAM.

Day 7 – Highbourne Cay & Allen's Cay

Spend your final full day exploring the northern Exumas. Relax on Highbourne Cay's beautiful beaches, snorkel vibrant reefs, or enjoy paddleboarding in crystal-clear water.

A short cruise brings you to Allen's Cay, where you'll meet the famous Bahamian rock iguanas before returning aboard for a sunset toast and farewell dinner under the stars.

Day 8 – Return to Palm Cay Marina

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as we cruise back to Palm Cay Marina, arriving by 12:00 PM for disembarkation.
